  It is recommended that an isolation switch for the towel rail be placed within 1 metre of the appliance. Placing the switch further away will depend on the particular situation, but is possible. • IS STAINLESS STEEL BETTER THAN CHROME PLATED MILD STEEL?

  Yes, stainless steel is an inherently corrosion resistant material whereas chrome plated mild steel relies on the integrity of a plated finish (about 1/3 the thickness of a human hair) to prevent corrosion.
